On the left: Benne Farm; old house no.5 , now Duingdorfer Strasse 40
Build in 1847 by Friedrich Wilhelm Benne and Margretha Elisabeth
There was an older building on the same foundation.
The Bennes had two Heuerling families on their property.
Johann Heinrich Nienhueser and Clara Maria Voth lived there in the 1830's . A great number of their descendants emigrated to the USA

On the right: Aring Farm; old house no.2 , now Duingdorfer Strasse 41

The inscription says: J.H.Aring + Catarine Elsabein Aring..... build 1892.
The Aring farm was here for centuries, before 1892 there were older buildings.
The Arings were landlords of two Heuerling families, who lived in a cottage adjacent to the farm.
Johann Henrich Nienhueser and Marie Elisabeth Hemesath lived there until 1822 (parents of Nienhuesers in No.5).

In the middle: old fire bell

The walls on the left are surrounding the property of the former Welker Farm (no.3, now deserted)

To the left of the photographers viewpoint is the entry of the Schauf Farm, no.4
