BARKHAUSEN: Heller Farm and Watermill



First mentioned in the year 1240. The present building is from 1822. Owners were Johan Mathias Heller and his wife Maria Elisabeth Imker.


Below:
Heller watermill built in 1841 next to the farm. Dismantled and reerected in the Westphalian Open Air Museum Detmold. It contains a set of millstones and a flax beater.
