The map from 1849 covers the eastern part of the parish of Buer.
Top left: BUER (with church in village centre). North of Buer: "vor dem Walde" .
lower left: WETTER.
lower middle: DUEINGDORF and hill "Dueingberg".


other villages are: MEESDORF, TITTINGDORF, WEHRINGDORF, BULSTEN and MARKENDORF with its hamlets LOEHLINGDORF, LINKEN, HOEFEN and LAMMERSBRINK
At the right hand side was the border to the Kingdom of Prussia (Buer was in Kingdom of Hannover)
