WEHRINGDORF: Aschermann Farm



The Aschermann Farm is one of the 9 old farmsteads of Wehringdorf.
Its history goes back many centuries. The present main building was erected in 1820 by Friedrich Wilhelm Aschermann. His wife was Clare Maria Noelkers from the neighboring Noelker Farm.
The oldest son inherited the farm (with a direct line to the present owner), while 3 younger brothers emigrated to America between 1846 and 1854.
