BUER: Wellmann Farm in flames



A great number of traditional lower saxon farmhouses burnt down during the last century.
The half timbered construction and the thatched roofs were a potential risk. Only a few of these nice looking buildings are left today.
Most of them were although replaced by stone buildings (like Wellmanns Farm in Buer).
